Funding

The math.epi.lab maintains active collaborations with a variety of infectious disease modeling groups across Canada as well as scientists in provincial and national public health organizations and industry. We are funded by a variety of funding organizations including the Canada Research Chairs Program.

Our team currently receives or has received research funding from the Canada Research Chairs program, the Emerging Infectious Diseases Modelling Initiative,  Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Equine Guelph, Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA), the Canada First Research Excellence Fund, and the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Many of the graduate student members of our team have been awarded competitive scholarships and fellowships including from NSERC, Ontario Graduate Scholarships, and OVC scholarships and fellowships.
